The Sixth Sense

Extra Sensory Perception, ESP for short, is the ability to make use of an ‘ extra ’ sense.

Most of us function with five senses, namely, touch, sell, hear, sight and taste. But there are some of us who can sense things that are beyond the scope of these 5 senses.

Many people claim to have dreams, that foretell something, that is about to happen, or is in the process of happening, others say, they can read the mind of a complete stranger, while some claim to have the ability to move objects with no tangible physical force, but with the power of their minds.

Science has not been able to categorically disprove these claims. Enough circumstances have presented themselves to merit the development of a field of study dedicated to these claims. Some of these phenomena are telepathy , clairvoyance , precognition , psycho kinesis and survival of consciousness.

Telepathy is the ability of the mind to mind communication without the use of words or gestures – mind reading.

Clairvoyance is the awareness of an object or physical event in the distance.
For example, one would be able to identify objects behind a solid wall or relate an event that is taking place in a different locality without prior knowledge.

Premonition is the ability to foretell the occurrence of a future event like an accident or emergency situation.

Psycho kinesis is the mind over matter over physical or living systems – the ability to move, shake or shift an object without the means of physical force, only the mind’s power.

Whether you believe it or not, science cannot prove it doesn’t exist, so maybe such phenomena do occur.
